Instructions for Labeling Activities Using Google Drive
Since multiple individuals have had trouble using Ruffle, here's an alternative way to access the labeling activities. This method can be used on any web browser
It is recommended to get started on a desktop computer, but it is possible to use a mobile browser after setup (the Google Drive app is not supported)
Step 1: Get Cloud SWF, Flash Player with Drive
You must be logged in with your institutional Google Workspace account (i.e. your weimar.edu email)
Go to your Google Drive settings on a desktop computer: https://drive.google.com/drive/settings
Select "Manage apps" in the sidebar menu
Click on "Connect more apps"
A popup will appear. In the search bar, search "Cloud SWF"
Click on the result, then click "Install"
Click "continue" in the small popup that appears
A popup browser window should appear. Select your Weimar Google Workspace account
Check the box by "Select all," then click "Continue" at the bottom of the page
Navigate back to the "Manage apps" section in Google Drive settings
Ensure that the "Use by default" box is checked for Cloud SWF, Flash Player
Step 2: Using the Matching Activity
Follow this link or click the button below: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wrkodpnM2Sj2L-DdrlBPLVOGsfySPGgr?usp=sharing
Click on the desired folder, such as "1.1 Skeletal System." If the desired set of activities is not visible, contact Adam
Click on any individual matching activity, such as "08_03_1 The Skull, Anterior View"
The file will open in a new tab
If you have an ad blocker installed, disable it
In the new tab that opens, select "Flash Emulator 1 (ActionScript 2, Stable)" from the dropdown. This step is necessary only the first time you use the application
Click "Refresh." This step is necessary only the first time you use the application
The matching activity should appear. You may need to click the large orange play button
